Shadow Business Secretary's team believed to cost £200,000 in wages
Ed Miliband’s rising star Chuka Umunna is facing a revolt from jealous Labour MPs who have accused him of running a ‘presidential-style’ Commons office.
Leaked documents obtained by The Mail on Sunday reveal that Shadow Business Secretary Mr Umunna has 11 people working for him – more than twice what many fellow Labour frontbenchers say they have.
His team, believed to be paid about £200,000 in total, includes no fewer than three ‘policy advisers’, a ‘personal assistant’ and a spin doctor.

The chain of command in what Labour MPs are referring to as ‘the court of King Chuka’ is set out in an elaborate ‘organogram’ with stylish Mr Umunna, 33, at the head.

I signed up for a free credit report. After reviewing my bank statement, I have noticed that they are taking money out of my account without my permission. When I called, they said that they do not give refunds! I will never use them again and will tell everyone.
Signed up for a seven trial for credit monitoring. Cancelled the membership the same day, but my credit card was still charged $16.95. After I got my statement, I called Experian and was told they had no record of the call and would not refund the money back to me. My advice-- do not sign up for a "trial membership". Instead opt for the free credit report you are entitled to once per year from each credit reporting agency.

STAMFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) – The search for clues continues today after the horrific Christmas Day fire that killed three young children and their grandparents.
Madonna Badger managed to survive the blaze that killed her children and elderly parents. They were all trapped on the second floor. Badger managed to escape with a male acquaintance who was working on renovating the home.

It's thought that Kim Jong-un coordinated the bombardment of a South Korean island and the sinking of a South Korean warship last year to prove his military prowess and cement his role as the Great Successor. But he's not all business: Former classmates told the Washington Post Kim was obsessed with basketball, had a stash of expensive Nikes and "spent hours doing meticulous pencil drawings of Chicago Bulls superstar Michael Jordan." His taste for consumer goods has survived: Last year, a train full of televisions and watches thought to be gifts for Kim was derailed on its way way from China. He's FatKim Jong-un, like his father, is a serious chubster. Maybe he bulked up like Robert De Niro in Raging Bull to look more like his fat grandfather, North Korea's founder Kim Il-Sung, whom he's reportedly purposely styling himself after right down to the flat-top hairstyle. Or maybe it's some unspoken rule among North Korea's regimes that all its leaders have to be exceptionally rotund, to underscore the the millions of its citizens who have starved in famines. |
